This lightweight cardigan is knit at a sport weight gauge with either a sport weight yarn or a fingering weight yarn on larger needles for an open, drapey fabric. Construction is in pieces, but can be easily converted to in one-piece knitting. No shaping in lace is required. The back panel sits in a background of stockinette and the lace sleeve cuff is knit even without shaping for a slight bell-like effect. Stitches are then picked up from the long edge of the cuff for the rest of the sleeve.
