28-31” (32-35”, 36-39”, 40-43”, 44-47”, 48-51”, 52-55”) bust.
Materials:
• 950 (950, 1050, 1050, 1200, 1200, 1300) yds. worsted weight wool blend. Photographed garment used an alpaca/silk/merino blend.
• 1 US 8 (5 mm) 16” or 20” circular needle (or needle size to obtain gauge) used to knit turtleneck and sleeves, if knit in the round.
• 1 US 8 (5 mm) 32” or longer circular (or needle size to obtain gauge) used to knit the body and sleeves, if knit in the round. (if you prefer to knit in the round with double-pointed needles, you’ll also need a set of US 8 dpn’s). See sleeve section for alternate finishing methods.
• 5 stitch markers
• Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
Gauge:
18 sts & 24 rows in St st = 4” on size US 8 (5 mm) needles.
Tree Jacket is knit in the round from the top down with the option to knit the sleeves flat or in the round.
